Sound Emergency Medicine has designed this fellowship for family and internal medicine residents to gain valuable experience and become leaders in the emergency department.

Why Sound Emergency Medicine?

Our goal is to ensure our emergency medicine providers have all the tools and processes necessary to be successful at the bedside. We understand that you didn’t attend medical school to become an average provider. You have given all of your time and effort to perform your best, and it is our responsibility to support your success. While we may not be the largest emergency medicine provider, we are the fastest growing and actively invest in our providers to reach their full potential.

In addition, the fellowship is a part of the Midwestern University Graduate Medical Education consortium and receives support and academic and clinical oversight from MWU.  Our EM Fellowship graduates will be eligible for board certification in emergency medicine (BCEM) through the American Board of Physician Specialties (ABPS).
